Computers, Computer Science A feature in entity Life History analysis. An SI consists of a non-functional attribute (single-digit numeric) in an entity. Every event that affects that entity causes a change in the value of the SI. A birth event sets it initially to value = 1, and a death event sets it back to value = null. The SI can be used as a validation or referential check: if an SI is not set to a valid value for the event, the process will be aborted and an integrity error flagged. In this way, all the updates to the entity can happen only in the correct sequence.
Ríomhairí, Ríomheolaíocht Gné d'anailís Staire aonáin. Cuimsíonn táscaire staide tréith neamhfheidhmeach (uimhir aondigite) in aonán. Déanann gach teagmhas a fhearann ar an aonán sin athrú i luach an táscaire staide. Cuireann teagmhas breithe a luach = 1 i dtosach, agus teagmhas báis ar ais go luach = nialas é. Is féidir an táscaire staide a úsáid mar sheiceáil bailíochtaithe nó tagartha: mura leagtar luach bailí ar an táscaire staide don teagmhas, toghluaisfear an próiseas agus léireofar earráid sláine. Ar an tslí seo, is sa seicheamh ceart amháin a fhéadann na nuashonruithe go léir tarlú don aonán.
