I gcomhréir le hAirteagal 6(9) den Treoir maidir le hIdirinoibritheacht Iarnróid, áiritheoidh an Ghníomhaireacht go mbeidh gach leagan leanúnach de threalamh an ERTMS comhoiriúnach go siarghabhálach, amhail ón leagan a ghlac an Coimisiún an 23 Aibreán 2008.
In accordance with Article 6(9) of the Railway Interoperability Directive, the Agency shall ensure that successive versions of ERTMS equipment are backward compatible, as from the version adopted by the Commission on 23 April 2008.
